Charly here! I am wearing two very nice (if invisible) hats at the moment. One is a The Edge of Reading hat, which is new and spangly and exciting. I’ve been wearing the other one, a swish and trendy BookMachine hat, for just over a year. I like both of these hats very much.
Bearing this in mind, it would be absurd for me not to post a quick blog on this site about next week’s BookMachine event!
In six (yes six!) different cities* on Wednesday 25 September, BookMachine will be bringing together all sorts of people involved in, and connected to, the publishing industry. I am behind the steering wheel of Oxford’s event and it’s going to be a great evening. Tickets are nearly all gone, but more information and the sign-up page can be found here: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/7838488129
In a nutshell:
- The fantastic Emma Barnes will be giving a short talk
- Early arrivals will get a free drink courtesy of our sponsors HL Studios
- There is a book bundle to be won
- It’s happy hour at House Bar until 9pm
Hope to see you there!
*Events also taking place in London, Brighton, Barcelona, New York and Toronto. More information about BookMachine Everywhere here.
